Hello and Welcome!
My name is Dr. Elizabeth Adriano and I’ve been a practicing gynecologist, surgeon and obstetrician for nearly 25 years.
I am also a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, provider, leader and healer.
My husband and I have had the privilege to raise three children as we navigated our Navy careers across two continents and on an island in the middle of the Pacific.
It has been my honor to serve my country and to care for our nation’s heroes and their families.
I have met the most amazing women in exam rooms and delivery rooms and worked with the most competent and compassionate people in healthcare.
And it is clear to me that we are not listening to our patients…but more on that in just a bit…
Throughout my career, I have taken care of women of all ages, from all walks of life and from nearly every corner of the globe. I have delivered thousands of babies, relieved suffering from pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence and abnormal bleeding, and walked women through their journey to motherhood. The longer I am in practice, the more I hear from my patients that they have talked to other physicians and providers but did not receive the listening ear they expected. I aim to change that with the conversations that we are about to embark on.
My mission is to provide a platform for discussion about the many concerns that women have throughout each decade of your lives — from adolescence to your reproductive years and into menopause; from topics ranging from medical to pelvic health; from nutrition and exercise to the effect that environment and heredity have on our health and wellness; and the differences, big and small, that make us each individually unique…yet the same.
As we embark on this exciting journey together, I am looking forward to hearing your perspectives and experiences; I am looking forward to hearing how you are navigating your health and wellness, and exploring with you how I can provide language and guidance for you to improve your communication with your own healthcare provider.
